SACRAMENTO, CALIF. – Following CIF State Championship Bowl Game play, 13 teams were crowned 2016 CIF State Champions in their respective divisions. Five games, Divisions Open through 2-A, were held Friday-Saturday, December 16-17, at Hornet Stadium - Sacramento State, while the eight other State Championship games in Divisions 3-AA through 6-A were held on Saturday, December 17, at various host sites throughout California.
