Positive Coaching Alliance

The California Interscholastic Federation is proud to share resources from Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA). The Mountain View, Calif.-based national non-profit is developing "Better Athletes, Better People" by working to provide all youth and high school athletes a positive, character-building youth sports experience. Learn more about PCA in this short video featuring Pro Football Hall of Famer Steve Young.

PCA's model for youth and high school sports coaches - as taught in PCA workshops and online courses - is the Double-Goal Coach®, who pursues the goal of winning, and the even more important goal of teaching life lessons through sports.
