FRESNO, CALIF. – The 30th annual CIF State Cross Country Championships were highlighted with new champions being crowned and new course records being set. Foothill Technology and Claremont swept the DIV and DII races respectively with both their boys and girls teams each earning their first state title. Additionally, Cathedral Catholic (DIII Boys) and Desert Christian (DV Boys) all won their first State crown.
Additionally, in team competition Flintridge Prep won the DV girls race for their third consecutive State Championship, while the Great Oak boys claimed their third consecutive team title, winning the DI boys race. The Great Oak girls (DI) won their fifth consecutive State title, sixth overall, while the Palos Verdes girls won the DIII race for their sixth State Championship.
