2018 CIF State Basketball Championship Finals March 23-24

SACRAMENTO, CALIF. – The 2018 CIF State Basketball Championships are Friday and Saturday, March 23-24, at the Golden 1 Center, Sacramento, with tip-off set for 10:00 a.m. each day. Twenty-four teams will compete for 12 State titles. A complete schedule follows.

Tickets are available through TicketMaster or at the Golden 1 Center Box Office. Ticket prices per day start at $16 for adults and $10 for seniors (65+), children (2+) and high school students with a valid ASB card.

In the sixth year of the Open Division, the Sierra Canyon (1-0) boys return after their lone Championship in Division V in 2015, while Sheldon (0-1) returns for the first time since 2012 for their first State title. In the boys Division I game Chino Hills (1-1) looks to win their second state title. Crossroads (2-3) returns to the title game for first time since 1997 in search of their third State crown. In the Division IV boys game Christian (0-1) is seeking their first State Championship after their lone appearance in 1990.

In the girls Open Division game, Windward (2-2) seeks to capture their second consecutive State title, third overall, while Pinewood (6-2) is looking for their seventh State Championship, with their last win and appearance in 2014. In the girls Division I, game Serra (1-1) returns for the first time since 2013 in search of their second State crown, while Sacred Heart Cathedral (5-3) is looking for their sixth State Championship. In the girls Division II game, Pleasant Valley (1-1) returns to the Championship Final for the first time since their lone win in 1985, while Redondo Union (0-1) is in search of their first state crown after their 2002 appearance. West Campus (1-0) returns, this time to the Division III game after winning the girls DIV title last year. Additionally, in the girls Division IV game Rolling Hills Prep (0-1) returns for the second consecutive year in search of their first State Championship.

Teams making their first State Championship showing include: Las Lomas (Boys DI), Alameda (Boys DII), Notre Dame (Boys DIII), Pleasant Valley (Boys DIII), Sunny Hills (Girls DIII), Stuart Hall (Boys DIV), Priory (Girls DIV), Argonaut (Boys DV), Santa Clarita Christian (Boys DV), Lowell (Girls DV) and Sierra Pacific (Girls DV).
