SACRAMENTO, CALIF. – California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Executive Director Roger Blake today announced that Cerritos College – Falcon Stadium will serve as the main host site for the CIF State Football Championship Bowl Games from 2018-19, with a third-year option for 2020, pending approval of the appropriate agencies.
“The CIF is pleased to return to Cerritos College in southern California for another State Championship event,” said CIF Executive Director Roger Blake. “The CIF is committed to continue to provide a true championship experience for all those involved in education-based athletics.”
Cerritos College is no stranger to hosting high school football events, having most recently hosted the CIF Southern Section Football Championships. Additionally, Cerritos College was home of the CIF State Track and Field Championships on 18 occasions, most recently in 2008.
